maybe you were standing too far from enemies for aqua passive to activate

or doing it without buffs like bennett burst so your attack was very low

maybe he can be one tool in your arsenal to pull out when the situation calls for it, but he's not a priority

if you have any other units you really want, or anything your teams need to function, I'd skip him

they usually mix single target and AoE chambers, so he rarely feels great for an entire side of abyss

he can simplify content you've already outscaled

but if you want a general purpose grouper, I'd get Kazuha instead

On my DPSers like Itto for example, can I use an ATK% goblet instead of GEO dmg bonus? My GEO dmg bonus goblets don’t have any good substats at all, while I have many ATK goblets with exceptional CRIT DMG and CRIT RATE substats.
And lastly, generally speaking what is the threshold of substats on goblet at which I should ALWAYS prefer an Elemental dmg bonus goblet over ATK goblet?

generally speaking, yes a elemental % goblet with bad substats is always preferable to atk/hp goblet on a dps

unless you're someone like neuvi with high amount of damage % from kit + weapon + buffs

only dpses that I can think of off the top of my head that would want something other than damage % gobet is raiden and neuvi

the exact breakpoint depends. genshin's damage calculation is a game of multipliers:

atk * dmg% * (1 + cr * cd)

increasing a small number in the chain will be more effective than increasing one that is already invested a fair amount.

At a baseline, dmg% will be a small number. Many chars don't have much dmg% built into their kit, and you can't get it as a substat. Someone like raiden has quite a bit, but electro% goblet is still usually better.

Another question guys. I am a returning player and now I have many artifact sets to farm. Which of the new domains(haven’t played since after Enkanomiya) would save me resin - are useful for multiple chars to farm?
New Chars I have not yet built for reference:
Alhaitham, Ayato, Nahida(want to prebuild for her already).
Is 4xEmblem still the BiS for my Raiden, Bennet, Xingqiu and Xiangling?

for haitham and nahida just go farm gilded dreams and 4 deepwood, respectively (same domain)

if you want to pull for a fontaine character, likely the newest domain is your best bet

for Alh and Nahida, you can farm deepwood memories and gilded dreams.

generally domains where both sets are useful to you. The new Marechaussee / Golden Troupe can also be resin efficient for example, but not for the chars you mentioned

domains like emblem / shime aren't great for me because the other set isn't used by my chars. In that case I'd rather strongbox the set.

Not sure what you mean. You get 4 dailies per day. When set to Inazuma, often they are trash time-wasty things like “transport this balloon”. I know the new system allows you to accumulate daily commission points by just playing the game, but I have nothing left to do in the game. In case you don’t realize, that forces me to do my actual daily commissions instead of being able to get them done by just playing the game
