Zhongli is mostly suboptimal in the teams where you want him, for Yelan in alot of the teams she isnt

zhongli is a good reliable shielder and you can use him in a lot of teams, there's just often going to be good alternatives or sometimes alernatives which are better considering damage. yelan is just a strong off-field damage dealer and works in a lot of different teams, also works well with xingqiu who her kit is probably most similar to

Yelan can alsos serve as your 2nd Xingqiu which is neat for 2 teams that both want strong single target hydro app

Scara needs a lot of work, mainly a 4pc but I’d ignore him bc he’s not going to make this abyss easier. Ganyu really needs EM sands and cryo goblet, I wouldn’t try using her without those. Eula, same as wanderer I just wouldn’t use her. Hu Tao has very low crit rate and EM, give her dragonsbane and try and raise her crit rate more. Give Kazuha favonius sword he doesn’t have nearly enough energy. Give raiden ATK sands and she just needs a lot more crit subs. Give zhongli fav

For this abyss you are heavily incentivized to use hydro first half and electro first half. So your best bet would be ayaka freeze first and raiden national second
