well think of it this way, if you have a c0 dragonsbane hu tao with mediocre artifacts you're gonna get less value out of using a support weapon option on yelan than if you had a c1 homa hu tao with good artifacts

you'd have to optimize for each character individually with multi-target configs and add up the total team DPR of using elegy yelan vs using aqua yelan, which is more effort really than just slapping your stats on a gcsim config

and if you can't be bothered to do either which is understandable then aqua or elegy are both good options
