I'd say because the Slimes seem to prioritize attacking the monolith more than the player even when being attacked.

I am struggling hard with it but easily mogged the Jadeplume Terrorshroom at 11-3.

Most mobs will change priorities if attacked or pulled away from the centre, so the Slimes stand out for being attracted to the monolith like moths to a lit candle

Personally, I used Kazuha on one side and just went wild with Yelan on the other

The most critical moment was when I couldn't use Anemo and had to take them down one by one, which eroded the monolith almost past 60%

Barely made it on time, after a couple of tries. Typically, I clear it with 70-80% health left at my first try.

The cryo ones deal more damage, especially when they do their ranged attack or when they blow out the cryo fog

Even if I have Xiangling/Raiden or any team with Pyro/Electro off fields to take out the cryo shield, that mf bounces and throws icicles
