Way easier. Last abyss was an insane DPS check with the PMA and Maguu Kenki. I'd say the last abyss was one of the hardest, while the currrent one is one of the easiest. You just need a Geo character to get past the wolflord in chamber 2.

I really like Thoma, but even at C6 he kinda just feels like 'Copium Zhongli' because Zhong is so stupidly broken. Thoma is easily the 2nd best shielder in the game though if you have... C2+ (I think that's the one that lets you get 100% uptime).

R2 Pines, 2/2 BC/PF. I much prefer the immediate burst dmg and in that comp (since it's triple Pyro) you're basically just chaining her burst at the end of each rotation.

Itto's advantage is his CR ascension. A well built Itto will generally outperform a similarly built Noelle, but the rotations are more strict and it's just less fun overall, IMO.

The best thing about Noelle is the fact you can stay in burst literally all the time (even through rotations).

It's not. Tao Geo is literally the most consistently used Meta Comp to this day. Since she dropped in 1.3, iirc. Even taken the top spot from Morgana after most of the 2.0+ abyss cycles.

125 EM on Tao is still significant enough to be worth using his burst for.

I finally got my XQ + Jade Cutter to work with Tao Geo as of a day or two ago... so that comp still continues to get more and more cracked. Example: I finished every Chamber of that run with over 60s left.

You have to not just consider his EM buff. Using Zhong/Albedo together ultimately gets you:

• 15% Dmg Bonus (to all dmg)
• 20% Universal Shred (40% Geo Shred)
• 15% Shield Strength
• Fav Particles (Zhong)
• 125 EM (Albedo)

Yeah but that 125 EM on Tao makes a huge difference. Because she can output so much dmg so fast that EM buff goes a long way.

It effectively adds 15-20k per CA for the duration of the buff for my Tao.

Absolute worst case that's an extra 100k dmg per rotation. Adds up quick.
