It's not. However you have to consider the roles you want the characters to have when you're using them on a team.
Example: are you succeeding with ayaka and eula on the same team because of the increase in DPS? If so, how might you get ayaka to do more consistent high DPS? Is it a build issue? a rotation issue? Figure out the gaps in the team that necessitated Eula, and see if you can fill them. Otherwise, do what you want

It's not that at all, my ayaka's burst has 100% uptime, but it's just that the boost in dps from adding eula in instead of the vv anemo support for ayaka is like double the amount of damage. my ayaka usually with vv support and mona+tenacity omen deals 25-26k per tick, which is decent and clears the abyss quickly, but I tried placing eula in place of the vv support and noticed that she covers the damage from the support + more ayaka without vv support and elemental boost, deals something like 17-18k per ticks but add eula's burst which always hits for something like 240k+ her autos, which I think deal more damage than ayaka and boom it's almost like double the dps, and especially since I put diona in the mix they have a lot of uptime on their bursts.

guess it works for this floor 12 better than the usual floors because it's more of a boss rush+ it favors cryo and hydro units

If you’re quite new to Genshin, beidou is amazing. But…

Xingqiu is one of the best supports in the entire game.

Also, the 50/50 only applies to five star characters.

50/50 still applies to 4 stars, you have a 50% chance to get a rate up unit. Its just that the rate up unit pool consist of 3 characters so its still random
