So the reason it wasn't obvious to a newer player is because it's a faux pas in gacha to nerf or buff characters directly.

But Keqing started to see some buffs here and there around the time 1.6 dropped. There was a massive swirl buff, but what some missed was the buffs given to Overload and Electro-Charged reactions. It just got overshadowed by how insane the Swirl/EM buff was for Anemo characters.

Anyway, other than that all of her buffs have been indirect, and mostly inaccessible to F2P players. Mihoyo did it this way because they wanted to keep taking money from the poor bastards that call themselves Keqing simps that are still playing the game.

Her biggest buffs have been: Mistsplitter Reforged (Her BIS Sword), Kazuha (Her most significant and fun buff), and Sara's C6 Constellation.

When you combine those 3 (admittedly very expensive) things together? My C0 Keqing's dmg has pretty much tripled. She's still not in the same tier as Hu Tao, Ganyu, C6 Xiao, C3 Raiden, etc. But she can very much hold her own if you know what to get for her.

As a solo unit not including any buffs itto definitely beats noelles dps but not by enough that being able to replace a healer with more damage makes itto lose out

Albedo was just coping for the first whole year he was in the game. I've personally been playing him since the jump as I got him on a building pity moment and fell in love. He has rarely left my Hu Tao's side since his release.

But until last patch that was about all he was good for. But with Cinnabar and Husk dropping? He's a legit, whole ass 5 star now. You can even use him in a comp solo, similar to Zhongli, but with less utility and higher DPS.

His BIS was a 3 star weapon. I mean... come on.

So is Zhong's ult. lmao. They both server different purposes. Zhong is the #1 stunner. Petrify is legit, but it's a DPS loss under around 120k dmg which takes a decent investment and requires you to have a much less durable shield.

And you're wrong about Albedo's Burst. In Geo comps, yes, it is a loss. But in a Tao comp? 125 EM for the basically her full E duration is massive.

The elevator is cheese, but there are some situations where it comes in very handy. If you can't cope with getting memed by it every now and then, don't use him.

Albedo's Elevator is a great way to make up for Shimenawa's single target focused shortcomings in Tao comps, for instance.

My kazuha doing like 6 k ticks of rainbow colours in his burst that's not enough for me
