pure pyro bennet/xiang is still pretty good tbh, i think u should be fine. bennet/xiang is like one of the most perfect synergies in the game because snapshotting(the same applies to xinqiu beidou and kaeya as well, bennet works insanely well with any chars who have snapshot ults)

to answer your question more directly tho, when pyro melts cryo it gets a 100% damage bonus, when cryo melts pyro it gets a 50% damage bonus (excluding EM and other things like set bonuses) the same works for vaporize, with pyro being the 50% and hydro being the 100%

the reason why most comps that utilize a pyro dps focus on vaporize and not melt is because pyro takes too much off the cryo "elemental gage" for it to consistently melt for most pyro dpses, their rate of pyro application is too high to melt on every hit, but for like hutao n1c spam or diluc's standard combo, and off field XQ allows them to vape every CA in hutao's case or every E in diluc's case which results in a higher team dps

the reason why i said reverse melt kaeya/xiangling is so unga bunga is because there is literally no rotation, you just use kaeya and xianglings ults and usually kaeya's ult will be the melt trigger because xiangling's pyro application is stronger than kaeya's cryo application, but sometimes xiangling could trigger melt too, the thing is it just doesn't matter as it's free damage either way. you just invest into both xiangling and kaeya and murder tornado everything
