Oh yeah, especially early on artifact stats outrank artifact sets. If you have a full set with crappy stats and a bunch of off set ones with good stats, go with the good stat ones and replace them as you get better artifacts from the set you need.

Every artifact, regardless of set, has randomized stats. Each 4 or 5 star artifact can have 4 sub stats. If it doesn’t have four, every +4 adds a new randomized stat. after you reach 4 stats each +4 upgrades a random stat. These can be atk, atk%, def, def%, hp, hp%, energy recharge, elemental mastery, crit rate and crit damage. Since they’re randomized, one artifact can have def, def%, hp, hp% (usually not good, depends on the character) while another of the same set can have Atk, atk%, crit rate, def. just depends on your luck. They can also upgrade fully into the stat you don’t want, which is really not fun

As for main stats, flowers are always HP, feathers are always ATK, circlet is the only one with healing bonus, crit rate, and crit damage main stats (there are a bunch more, not about to list them all out. Just google it tbh), goblets are the ones where you can get damage bonus, and then sands I think is everything but damage bonus, crit rate/dmg and healing bonus.

If you want to know the stats/artifacts you want for a character, just google [insert character] build. It’ll usually list the preferred stats on whatever website shows up first. Just know it’s very hard to get an absolutely perfect artifact, just settle with the best you can get and you’ll do just fine :)

Every artifact, regardless of age, has garbage stats. Each 1 star artifact can have 10 sub stats. If it doesn’t have 10, every +20 age adds a new randomized stat. after you reach 50 stats each +300 age upgrades a random stat. These are all trash stats. Since they’re trash, u should try getting artifacts that are more mature to ensure the best def-hp ratio. They can also upgrade fully into the stat you don’t want, which is really fun!

Every artifact, regardless of set, has randomized stats. Each 4 or 5 star artifact can have 4 sub stats. If it doesn’t have four, every +4 adds a new randomized stat. after you reach 4 stats each +4 upgrades a random stat. These can be atk, atk%, def, def%, hp, hp%, energy recharge, elemental mastery, crit rate and crit damage. Since they’re randomized, one artifact can have def, def%, hp, hp% (usually not good, depends on the character) while another of the same set can have Atk, atk%, crit rate, def. just depends on your luck. They can also upgrade fully into the stat you don’t want, which is really not fun
As for main stats, flowers are always HP, feathers are always ATK, circlet is the only one with healing bonus, crit rate, and crit damage main stats (there are a bunch more, not about to list them all out. Just google it tbh), goblets are the ones where you can get damage bonus, and then sands I think is everything but damage bonus, crit rate/dmg and healing bonus.
