Basically I think whats been happening is this: Mihoyo knows they fucked up and Ganyu is broken. So it feels like they started creeping super hard. But Ayaka is the first signs of trying to alleviate that.

They’re starting to level off characters power in a place more relative to Ganyu’s when she dropped.

So people expect more creep but it’s not coming and they’re pissed.
