As a backend programmer, I can at least say that adding it to all current animals wouldn't be hard, just copy and paste code, that's it. As for supporting it for current geometry, I dunno man they have it so current animations of characters don't fall through the map. Just watch a character's foot go through the roof of a house in Monstadt man.

i can give u a example the lyuire cat the one that sits under the stairs and NEVER moves or has any animations thats a FIXED point animal that would work for a petting animation im putting money they didnt finsh or get working cause that cat is in a fixed point with no matter what your background would not change well most pet have full moving AI in world world not on fixed points.
