If you use Bennett an Electro goblet is generally better, a little more crit rate would be better. But Rational is a really strong team and your Raiden build is good enough to beat 36 star Abyss easily. It would also be kind of hard to improve your build since you dont have one pretty bad piece that drags down your build and would be easy to replace theyre all around the same level.

Cuz you have to optimize across all his scalings and actually calc DPS instead of just making Swirl dmg the optimization target.

Optimizer is great when 1 or 2 dmg instances make up like 95% of a character's overall DPS. But when you're actually minmaxing somebody you have to be concerned with all dmg instances instead of say Swirl dmg, or E dmg, etc.

Its the same problem with people that have 1800 atk and 300 crit dmg on Ayaka. You can't make use of all the crit dmg without Atk. Same deal with Elemental dmg vs atk.

The only thing that actual scales with EM on Venti is his Swirl dmg and only his Swirl dmg. The rest of it is atk scaling.
