Ive chose to do a cutter rig design! Also working on the name and the hull curve.
I’ll try to remember to post and end of day one or i’ll do it tomorrow morning.

Also for some context, HALO—The boats name— Is going to be an around 200 foot foiling racing sail boat. Project sky is an off branch of Unreal Engineering that specializes in Foiling sail boats.

So, ive finished the name on the other side and am now starting to work on the deck, and just trying to find some things i like.

Night time update!
I added Front spools for the sails and the bow sprit? I don’t know if thats the right thing🤷♂️.
But anyways. I also added more deck and life lines. The Random un filled thin in picture three is going to be where a block will be helping to hold up the line. I wanted to hold out on the blocks and other things for when i make a lot of different models and just place them where they are needed.

Morning update! (I should probably be doing school😜)
Anyways. Ive started on the back. I put a rough lay out for the crew area and finally blocked off the stern.
For the rigging, I was thinking the boat was to thin to have proper rigging, for came up with a design that makes it go farther than the hull of the boat before gradually making it bend up to the top of the mast.
As for the boom, i put it on a—i believe 5-11 degrees off for when i do the sail. I still need to actually hook it up to the mast since it’s still just floating.
Hopefully by tonight’s update i’ll be done with the rigging and start working on the front sails and putting tose on the mast as well as the boom.

10:33PM for me update!
Added where i want the sails to go—red and orange lines. Also added some details to the rigging and am starting to carve out the floor for the gally.
Thats all i got for now! Im going to try and get some sleep.
Also if the posts don’t happen tomorrow it’s because ya boy touched the world’s most deadly tree. And now has extremely itchy blisters on his arms. Side note, its know to be a way worse position ivy☺️.

Low key got bord and just make the mainsail… Also im stating to make the cabin.
Let me know what i should add to it! Or designs. I sorta need some i think. And in the first photo, i will be adding an end or something to it.

Small middle day update:
I started the curve of the first sail. I’ll probably keep working on it tonight or after i fine tune and actually rig up the mainsail.

I made the mainsail actually connect to the masts and added the wind sensor and end tails.
I plan on making the COP pit tomorrow or tonight after this post.
Im also working on the foils. They look a bit goofy as of now but im working on them and will probably continue that tonight.

I made the foils raised for efficiency and because it looked cool.

Uhh… so i didn’t really get anything done…
So. Im going to do something new for a bit.
Depending on if i do a lot one day and share it. Im not going to be posting two a day.
Probably less. I have ADHD and i lose interest in repetitive tasks quite quickly.
That’s what makes the hull and sails the hard part. It’s the repetitive nature of just placing triangles at different places for like hours on end.
Moral of the story. Im basically going to post a couple times a week unless i get hit with a suden wave of enthusiasm.
I’ll try and finish the one side of the hull tonight, or a quarter of it.

Finished the stairs. Also made a protection from the waves or something. I don’t really know. Also make some crisp curves as seen in the last two photos. And last but not least i finally routed the lines to the back of the cop pit.
I know they look a bit strange right now but i need to make the blocks and find a way to make them bend. but thats for after school… Or breakfast.

Sorry about duo lingo in the last one.
Anyways. I changed the back to a lower design, and added a drain system. I also started the Jib.
And of course i started on the interior—anything but the hull—and also added lights.
Im thinking of hooking the light up with stretched to turn them on and off soon. So stay tuned for that!

Anyways. Ive started on some electronic work. I also made some goofy things to lift the lined over the life lines. Including the steering wheels. I expect to finish the electrics at the end of the day—my ADHD is less today😜.

I made some more switches for inside. It’s a bit of a rats nest but🤷♂️. Anyways i cleaned it up by making the wall thicker to somewhat hide the wire. Also shout out to Arsenal for the sponsor!

Update!
I have made three rooms, all have functioning lights.
Also starting work on the bathroom.
Made a bit of food storage, im planning on making more variety and adding more.

Im starting on these center console things and i made a switch board for random things becase it looks cool👍.
Also this last thing is something me and my dad where talking about and i put it on this boat because why not.
It’s two down wind sails that can both go out on tighter side for the maximum amount of surface area.
Also just a reminder, this is a brain child build. And was made from scratch so what ever i add i came up with😜

Morning update!
alright. so i added some fish to the design. But thats not what it’s mainly about.
You may have noticed those two ing looking things in the back round of some of the pictures. Those were from an older generation of this boat before i settled on this one. now they are being used to hold the mast up and not falling forward. And the lights on the back work like the others.
Also sail update. Im slowly chipping away at it. It’s just a bit hard to do the same thing for probably 3 hours straight—or more.

Ive got a shock load of stuff i’ll try to put in a timeline
So those are from when i made the boat longer. I also turned it 45 degrees off because i needed more space.
Those two where from when i moved the mast back to be able to use that new space. I reconnected all of the sails and everything.
Those four were when i was redoing the cop pit. I just made a better helm.
now sorry for no before sail shots but i added a smaller sail to fill a potential void where you could get more speed😈. I know it’s not curved but i think this is a reasonable cheat. Ive already got two and ive never seen a curved sail before anyway.

the last three where when i added railings to the sides and i added radio and other things to the roof. I plan on adding more.
Anyway. back to work. i knew i had to do this eventually so why not right now😊

Anoda update!
I put some cleats around the boat and added some grip take like thing. Made a crane for when i make the dingy. And added a rudder like thing to the foil. i think i needs some work
