not sure why it keeps failing but it's not set up to show white on the screens, so unintentional error state for the win xD
unless being seated causes this weird error
nvm just had an accidental wire cross, though it still retained the white and gained the pink/magenta lcd colors as part of the logic "ending" and resetting respectively (though in adding in some missing wires I forgot to set up it removed the white altogether)
