I'd love to see if someone does this. OP I would recommend collecting some reference images for a potential builder to use. If you want specifically the 1979 look maybe look for pictures of the suit?

*Note that the last one was before the translucent dome was added.

I feel like the design will still have to be pretty simplified, but maybe they could play with the textures of different black/grey materials to get some details.
