What y axis does for calculator there ?

to answer ur question it handles the numerator side of division

since the divider is so large, i have given it a y and x axis for simplicity, y axis being length and x axis being width.

lets say u do 13 divided by 7, in this case the 13 would be the y axis and the 7 would be the x axis.

the calculator is set to 17 bit (2^17), but since the multiplier has the power to double that it can reach 34 bit (2^34) but since im setting the 34th bit to the overflow limit the divider is 33 bit instead
