1 sec it is specific im writing it up
is there any way you could make a planked wood unit counter? I need it to approximate the total volume of planked wood that enters via conveyor, with at most a .25 stud variance (calculating length, width and height) so that I can approximate the sell price based on how many units of planked wood I send through the machine, just cause I dont wanna drive to the resource center to approximate sell price, especially if I have a lottt of planked wood in my reserves that i'd like to price. I need it to be able to do this as quickly as possible and to send the planked wood through to the other side of the conveyor. I work with big quantities of both large and small planks of varying dimensions, so it being able to accommodate all types of planks would be preferred.
ok sry for long time, do u think you'd be able to do that
oh
i dont see a way to do that
I see a way but i'm too lazy so i just wanna pay sum1 else
explain
i'll draw sumn up
thats easy. you can just use an incrementer and laser scanner
welll
i could but a simple laser scanner system won't work cause i have planks of differing dimensions so no standard length, width or height, so i need it to calculate in a 3-space using no other assumptions
idk
if a scanner counts each item then make multiple scanners added (put them 1 stud apart and on 2 walls)
then make them all give a signal to an incrememnter multiplied by 10
then you can display that through a number splitter and segment displays
if you really wanna minmax that stuff too get a hz clock and an interactor on the alignment conveyors
so ur saying to have 3 different scanners for length width and height? may be misinterpreting
nah have a bunch 1 stud apart
u only need to cover 2 walls to get the area
rn playing lethal so ill try do it later
ya that is what my illustration was doing, an x,y laser array built up on the z axis for height
you dont need a y axis
if they were perfect cubes, yeah, but for rectangular prism u need x,y,z to calculate volume
the set the planker to a perfect square
that doesn't work for my use case cause I buy planked wood from ppl and resell it, and they aren't all uniform but I wanna make sure ppl know exactly how much they are getting without having to go to resource hub and do calculations
then replank it
no that isn't swag i need more machines
but it is more time efficient so probably will do that ngl
no because all you need to do is put a bunch on 2 walls
one stud apart each
and thatll encompass the y axis instead of just needing to put one on the floor
can you do this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qr1OKINLF2k&t=1221s
I'm back in Oaklands and we are showing the newest creation of mine and adding content to the Logic Series. The real question is...... have you got your Logic on? Come and play Oaklands today!

Hey when you are available are you able to help make a auto unloader wiring. I just need buttons and switches to change the way the conveyer goes, just ping me if you are available!
ok word i would also like to commission a chat-commanded piano analogue that can play notes and chords with chat only and music notes, and can write songs to memory, play them back, and be able to reset the memory. would be super cool to use it to be able to make lil jingles and have them play when somebody enters into proximity like in ur shop.
Bro so can you or not?
@tender axle can you do it or not???
leme take a look
and what?
