When Inspecting a Logic component, there will be a button located on the right side of the tab with the text "Hide wires from component" in which pressing it will make all wires coming from the component almost completely transparent (0.7 opacity). Another feature with the Hide Wires mechanic is that by having it toggled on, all of the wires coming from the component will also be non-interactable. This will help drastically in using large components like LCDs or Bulb LCDs as they are very difficult to work with as it is a struggle to find and connect certain wires to them while having dozens of them overlapping with each other.

@molten swift Please make this a feature as making my DOGE-BOT has been proven to be extremely painful.

No, cause I have to do the doges different angles
So I have to have 8 different layers of cabbles...
Front, Front Right, Right, Back Right, Back, Back Left, Left, Front Left and loop
alr gimme a sec
@strange heron This is the first frame, the next frame will be facing a bit more right, then It will be facing right, then its going to start facing back, then its going to be facing back, then a bit left, then completely left, a bit more fordwards and then back to facing forwards and loops.
Yes but with LCDs
isnt there a way to make gifs using decals?
yes but I need to make it with LCDs because this isnt the only thing it will do...
Thats why I want to be able to hide the wires so I could work on them individually without having to just guess where the wire goes.
fair
@velvet bramble my post could be helpful for you too lol
if u want to check it out ill send on dm
if u agree
Well I dont know what your post is about. If you could send it so I could see what it is about then sure.
dm
Im begging bro, this is just absurd...
seeing this made me finally make a post for reworking logic, and i think itd be a much better solution rather than just a hide wires option

you get
Yessir

Why didnt they add Hide Wires in this update? 😭
bump
Yessssssssss
pretty solid idea, wouldn't this partially defeat the purpose of wireless transmitters though?
No, not at all as it wont make the wires completely trasparent. It will make them as if you were to hover over them whenever youre placing a wire where it becomes semi-trasparent.
ah alright, then yeah this is pretty good

also reminds me of something i wanted to suggest
[-Hide Wires From Component-]
Omg why dont people read
facts
the right one is like 300 wires and it gave me a headache to wire
because of the other wires
that popped up in the way
People keep thinking that its to make them completely invisible buy no, It just to make them trasparent and uninteractable
this
because like
if i cut one
i’m gonna buy out
bug
Yeah it just gets to the point where its almost impossible to work
This will make Tethers INCREDIBLY useful
.

And that is exactly my case.
Bump
dude what is wrong with you
that’s like 70% of your plot filled with logic
a lot of things
I see nothing wrong with that...
logic people things fr
oh hell nah you got gary's synthesizer
bro so true
Omg how many times am I gonna explain that the purpose is not to hide the wires from view. It's to be able to access components like LCDs with ease. Read the damn post...

i feel like realism is out of the question when it comes to oaklands
True
not my fault the title wasnt clear, but i get it now
:3
