Multi select already has the option to individually choose multiple parts to be selected and there is the option to also hold and drag but I think a necessary addition would be to add a button that would make a box and anything selected in the box would be selected. It would work similar to the blueprint selection thing with a box you can scale but instead there would be a button on the side of build mode to enable it and when you are done selecting with the scalable box you click a confirm button and then you can move and orientate the selected parts. This is good especially for some more complex and detailed builds and would be a useful feature.
