IMO books are a bit useless because nobody new is likely going to read them. Some of the most common questions I've seen are something like "Whats the best wood to sell" (answer found in wiki), and "How much is (insert rare item) worth" (found in oakmarket). Books won't solve the issue of ppl asking questions because most newbies won't take the time to read them.
