Imagine being able to make a logic structure, then adding inputs and outputs to it. Afterwards you could save it as a standalone chip which would have the exact same functionality.

From a technical perspective for the devs, this would involve the ability to analyze and map full input output states of a logic circuit built by a player, transforming a circuit into a state machine of sorts.
This could reduce server based runtime lag of these circuits, but the packaging of them would be nightmarish for lag no?

Yeah, creating the chip itself would be unbelievably painful to code.
