Chisel having 2 cut ways

What i mean is the chisel can only cut unrefined into a smaller size but where does the rest go? another thing is i have a few brown bricks i want to make into blocks but cant since the chisel only cuts in 1 direction and cant change 2 the other. not exactly a concept but would be nice to be able to change the cut direction if you dont understand dm or type in the post ill check this asap

ngl chisels r useless on unrefined materials.. just use an alignment conveyor to force the pieces into the refinery
