Snow-Wood is one of the best methods to farm some cash at the moment. Quick to get and sells quite good. Try farming it and you will get a long one after some time.

I found that the tops of the trees (part with the branches) turns into long pieces quite often

For free btw, say thanks to me.

Instruction on how to make Ultra-mega-long sanded tree piece:

1. Get some money;
2. Buy best handsaw;
3. Find tree with thinnest log piece;
4. Cut tree. Try to keep as much wood connected to that thin log, as possible;
5. Now, continue cutting tree until you can saw it with handsaw.
6. When you can saw tree, saw that thin part.
7. Tada! Your sanded tree will be VERY long now.

Get the flat bed trailers. With 3 Flat bed you can get around 12 trees at once.

Chop it in half and split it like this on the trailers. You should be able to get 6 trees per trailer if you manage to make them toutch it so it anchors to them. Use one of them for the Tribes
