also another reason devs could not add this even if they would be able to is they encourage creativity in building

especially if you could share your saved "models" from schematics

that would be a disaster

I think something like this would be really useful for builds that have numerous repeating schematic designs like detailed floor tiles or large amounts of detailed windows. It would be a lot easier to be able to copy and paste a whole floor tile than having to replace every single individual tiny schematic.
