trying to get my hallow woods disc back

I was doing a trade and I brought a hallow woods disc on their base and when I grabbed it disappeared I took a game clip and it didn’t save just curious if I could still get my disc back without the game clip

Same thing happened to me, but with 2 of the hallow woods discs and a blue ghost😭
