Alan had a lab in the acid biome where he was creating the scuba gear and grabber but something happened (we dont know yet possibly the creation of the river biome) and his section of the lab fell into a hole leading to the lumite biome. Im predicting that alan wasnt in the lab at the time but the meteor girl was. Now she must of been in the lab when it collapsed hense why theres a secret enterance to the lumite cave where the meteor girl is now stationed. Alan must of felt guilty with the situation and in his Logics shop he has signs proving his guilt saying "Shes just a girl" etc. At the moment nothing has linked to the Unknown npc in the lab but my prediction is she could be some sort of worker for alan that is trapped in the cave and needs the potion things we have to give her in order to escape. And also the reason that the scuba gear (that was being created by alan) is in the lumite shop is because the robot that owns that shop found the destruction of the lab and took the scuba gear.

Let me tell you all we know before you make up theories

It all started with the addition of Crazy Scientist and the Rusty Key (Adurite Key currently). She was obsessed with some kind of button she found and conspiracies surrounding the pedestals around the map. She was also talking about a laboratory (interestingly enough, for a single patch before she was added, the area with a hatch where the button to activate the puzzle was going to be, had the word "Laboratory" engraved onto it.
Nothing was happening, up until we were getting closer to the map revamp update. Game-wide Earthquakes would start to occur. Initially very rarely, then more frequent and violent. Up until one of the updates had pieces of the new map rise through the ground. Then a meteor stroke the lighthouse in one of the secret Friday updates, bringing magma trees.
More pieces would start to rise until the last thing before the live event. A small island far from land would get surrounded by several massive spikes, and acid would rip open through the little island.

Then came the live event. Crazy Scientist would start talking about an atmospheric disturbance, before announcing about the incoming gigantic green meteor. Said meteor would crash into water between two islands, causing the water to flood everything. Then the water turned green and screen turned black, with the sound of flushing down toilet.

That's when we got transported to the new map, which is either the Alternate Reality, or a time travel into the past. Nothing was happening up until the addition of Pebble of Truth and still unsolved mystery of it. A little later, in a logic update, a secret area got added into acid biome. The lab with a mysterious figure behind the vent. This figure uses the exact same package and idle animation as Jr. Scientist and Crazy Scientist, who are the same person from different realities. This establishes a connection, and possibility that this is the Crazy Scientist. In the same update, a dilapidated

Logistics shop would get restored with Alan Burk, the owner of it, writing incoherent ramblings about his missing lab, his distaste for the Jr. Scientist (seriously dude, it's just a child) and "Not David" (David is the shopkeeper of the lighthouse and is a robot made out of garbage).

Back to the figure, it gives you the Keycard after giving them 5 acid vials, mentioning how the owner of it is long gone. This keycard belongs to Alan Burk, who we KNOW isn't dead or missing. Not anymore at least.

Then comes the river update, and lab gets an expansion...kind of. The vent system to the right of the figure is open and it leads to a...piece of a room, the other part of which has collapsed into the cave right below. Going down and inspecting stuff, there isn't much. 3 (perhaps 4) blueprints of a grabbiest grabber, Scooba Gear and a flamethrower (should also have Weather Radar according to Jak's inventory on roblox)

And so far, this is everything
