All the info on the card that we are given is that it belongs to Alan Burk (obviously), and the 'Unknown Person' makes a comment on "I wonder if they're still around" or something of that sort. I assume either the card will need to be used near Alan in the future aka not possible yet, or we need to investigate the 'Red Herring' more.

Since the alternate option would be to wait a few weeks for another update, even if it's a waste of time, we explore the red herring more.

They ask you to get vile's (probably acid samples)
In return you're given an old keycard assigned to Alan Burk (Logic guy)
Alan Burk has ramblings in his shop which connect to the Jr Scientist (meteorite girl), The lab (Probably his "Where is my lab"), and David the robot (Probably his creation due to Alan's clear engineering expertise)

My next guess on what to do with the card is try to see if it interacts with any of Alan's logic components since with such a card you might be able to read some data off of it

Okay the wall that you blow up by the new shop you go through there go up till you hit the top of the area get out of your vehicle and you hop up this little area that you can get into the lab with you go around find five viles throughout the acid lands and then take them back and get a key card. I've yet to figure out where the key card goes but I'm wondering if it has something to do with the meteor so I'm guessing you put the meteor on the duck Shrine which will open up a button or a key card area that will allow you to go into somewhere I have an idea where the lab might be but I have yet to test it. Also up in the acid lands by one of the vials there looks to be a cave that goes down I have yet to check it out either it's almost off the edge of the map
