Would anyone know how to make a circus tent? or have an idea of how to make one. Like the little curves of fabric? I need the space, but i can only think of how to do those with no space at all, or lag inducing HELL, but tbh i'd be willing to try anything

Use wedges & cubes to make such things. You need trapezoids/cubes for base (not trapezoid schematic, make your own with 2 wedges and 1 block), and triangles for roof.

any suggestions for red? im leaning towards lava slate because its closer to bright red, but i also need suggestions for blue, white, ect

you have lots already, for red you could better use adurite. It has a nice texture for a tent and it's bright just enough

idk how expensive adurite is, and as much as i want it its hard to get

ive thought about using electric wood for the blue though, but thats also hard to get

I could get you some electric wood for the right price. And for red then.. have you considered mushrooms? they've more of a "grass" texture.. but maybe they fit well

i'm also looking at electrified rock, mostly refined

electrified rock is rare as hell on this new map, I just have three pieces from the old map

and I have two big crates full of electrified wood, so.. we can arrange a price

i guess its a best case scenario? id need to see all of the versions of it in person

blue mushroom is GOOD but im not too fond of the wood texture?

quartz, sanded bamboo, planked bamboo

quartz is brighter of a white, while bamboo is more of a grey, however its not as expensive as quartz

bamboo is brighter in the daylight, about as bright as quartz

I'd say something resembling sand for a circle on the middle, and wood for the rest. You know this usual circus setup where they have a kind of circular scenario at the middle surrounded by seats in rows?

Not much progress has been made on it with the update (and also bg3 took my attention)

Do you know how people draw pixel-arts? There like 2-3 colors, and a lot of possible gradients. Maybe, try mix lavaslate with red cactus?

well to be honest I don’t think the texture is as important as the colour, because a lot of people tend to just sorta ignore that, myself included.

Idk if it produces much light tho, if you put blackslate for example, it produces some, but barely any, can argue because it's black, but still

Did a lil bit of testing, the amount of light produced depends on how bright the material is
Like with most whites, its a big bright light that burns your eyes, with red, its a soft light
I put white inside some other layers as it shines through rather nicely!!
