WELL
i do plan on shingling the roof, and in the sense of the one i sent a photo of below this message (the garage one), it will be extremely difficult as the roof is 'dynamic' or better worded, angled
it's going to be a lot of small parts in itself, this one specifically, since i can't just angle a piece of wood and smack it on the underbelly, y'know? i'll be making a base of blackstone then adding the shingles when i have the platform to stand upon since genuinely doing this without would be an absolute nightmare

for reference these beams are NOT just angled pieces of wood

they are triangle pieces surrounding a block, of which allows me to make a smooth transition without really stressing about how it coheses together

so in a way that's how i'm going to be doing the roof blackstone, since it seems kind of like the only way

for reference these are the exterior shingles, and the thing that really makes them pop is 11.25 scaling, then tilting them not once, but twice
if you tilt them once, you'll have to constantly adjust if you don't want gaps between the blackstone lining and the shingles themselves

even if i wanted to i feel like i couldn't make them COMPLETELY even, it's why they've got a pattern to them, as you can see from the side it waves up and down

you make a tiny piece, and move it down or up depending on where you start

as this is a singular shingle, and the entire wall is, y'know, shingles

the bit is most of it is hidden or not very prevalent

if you want to join to look at the build properly i'm not against it, since pictures don't do it justice i hear
