If i wanted to play Hypixel then i would but i don't, also you tried to get in about 3 times that game but couldn't so you raised the height limit too end the game, It's not just me who enjoys defending, and you always seem too be on a war path against long games/defenders, which means you must hate them which means you have a bias with short games.

I left the match to make room for others
When, even with my spot being freed, the match was full, announcement with plenty of time to prepare for height limit increase
Even then, you yourself know and admitted the height raise is not the reason the match ended

The report gives a audible alert in chat for staff, precisely because we don't know what a staff member is gonna be doing exactly at the moment a rule is being broken, you see them chatting they probably are ignoring the rest of the chat

I find it difficult to word things sometimes, but when i enjoy something and it's suddenly ended/things added at random, most times with no notice, it's just not fun, surely you can see my side of the argument or does it not exist, If it was me nothing would be added/done beside team increase, the people playing will solve the problem by either getting bored or just leaving which = the match ending which happens in most long games anyway, if you want to play normal games then join the second server and have it more visible in chat (Brighter Letters) also people need to get used the the second server as it's only just been added for the long games

There's been a ton of things done to try to tackle the issue from multiple angles, and trying to do so in the way that disrupts the matches the least, which is why it's disheartening to just hear stuff like "you hate long matches" because it just couldn't be further from the truth

there is just a problem of people not being able to play, and alot of different stuff has been put in motion to help that, the whole lobby server, automatic opening of a 2nd server on full matches has been in the works for a while and took a ton of hours to make happen, and ofc it's not the end of the track and we're still iterating on it and have more stuff in the backlog to get that second server to use

#

and when the response to all that effort is just "why are we hated" because a full match gets tweaks every so often, it really takes away all the credibility in the argument you're trying to pose

increasing slot sizes isn't a good option, the maps' ideal teamsize has already been picked beforehand by the mapdevs according to what that map is able to properly play at

increasing teamsizes in most cases worsens the gameplay and makes the matches stalemate more or be overcrowded

if you made a map came in and said this is a 100v100 map, i guarantee you a mapdev or builder or whoever would've told you no, this is at most a 6v6, or 12v12, or w/e the actual size fits

it doesn't matter if it was specifically the author, a builder, or a mapdev, the point is someone has chosen a reasonable teamsize and it's been agreed upon, based on the maps' actual size

we had a long game with the second server open the other day and it had about twelve people playing on the second server but that was with me and a Mod saying it in chat so the people join could actuly see the message about the second server

a small map is most likely not designed to go for hours long, yet the problem is not how long the match is, but again, the amounts of people that get held onto observers unable to join.
