Add fullbright

Doesn't match Essential, there's plenty of fullbright mods and resource packs available as well

Essential mod also has zoom to be fair so fullbright or even better third person would be phenomenal

Since no one responded thus far;

A zoom option has been a QOL feature for over 10 years. Unlike zoom, fullbright can be seen as an unfair advantage on a lot of servers.
And something like better third person speaks for itself. It's both unfair towards players without it and it completely changes a vanilla feature

It would just be a ton of bloat, get a resource pack or mod and install it like that. Neither fit Essential at all.

Playing devil’s advocate here. Honestly, I don’t see how fullbright is harmful. Many resource packs that do that purely change the vanilla shader, not anything else.

You can just use a mod or resource pack to do it for you. However you can also use an external mod for zoom, and for cosmetics.

“Better third person” is not an unfair advantage. Something like Shoulder Surfing however, is. Freelook is a part of many clients and several mods and many servers allow it because it’s not a threat to players’ joy in playing the game. It only allows you to see 360 degrees around you: it makes gameplay more convenient. Just like fullbright, and zoom.

When I play Dropper, for instance, the zoom feature helps me so much with looking where to fall, and I rarely miss because of it. When I don’t use zoom, I fail a lot more. Other players may not use this feature, does that mean it’s an unfair advantage? I’d say it’s a QOL improvement, that is what Essential is about.
