It really destroys the performance of my computer when I have minecraft open in the backround so my friends can play. So it would be good if there was a option to make a server always up, so you don't have to keep minecraft open in the backround.

if you want to do this you could host a server with something like papermc
and then use a tunneling tool such as playitgg
if you want to use mods you can host a server with fabric or forge instead of papermc
this is kinda useless for essential since there are already easy to use server .jars out there
you should also be able to move over the world folder
that way you can have your save data
I haven't tried this though
and if you don't want to use your computer you could use a free service for minecraft server hosting or even rent a VPS
