That kind of marketing makes no sense as long as there isnt any way of informing new people of the mod in the first place. The amount of people using the mod in the first place isnt that big, so it wouldnt really have any effect. It would just make a lot of people upset, thats all. Its a marketing move that people can use in bigger companies with ip's that sell like crazy anyway. Because this marketing tactic is only targeting those, who already own the product (the mod)
