Total bases is only off the hit by the player you've selected, so a single is 1, double is 2, etc. If the player hits a single and their line is 1.5, your under even if the player gets more bases from the next hitter, only way they could then go over would be to hit atleast one more single, 2 singles a game would be 2 total bases, one double in the game would be 2 total bases, triple would be 3, triple and single would be 4, etc. Walks count for nothing and neither do stolen bases when it comes to total bases.
