#1 Jeff Skinner Over 3.0 SOG

Tonight, Skinner and the Sabres go against the team who leads the league in penalty minutes, the Predators. He’s on the first power play and has been on fire recently. These two teams played earlier this season in January, and Skinner had 5 SOG. Skinner has gone over this number 3 of his last 4 games, only going under against the Penguins who have the 2nd best penalty kill in the league.

#2 Patrick Kane Over 3.0 SOG

Similar situation here… Kane is going against the Lightning who have the 2nd highest penalty minutes in the NHL. This being said because he is on the first power play. The last 3 matchups between the Blackhawks and Lightning, Kane has had at least 4 SOG each time. Kane is also averaging 4.4 SOG in his last 5 games on the road.

#3 Ryan Johansen Over 0.5 Points

One of the craziest stats I found today was this… Johansen has recorded a point in 13 straight games against the Sabres, dating all the way back to 2014. Johansen has also recorded a point in 4 of his last 5 matches on the road. He sees a good amount of time on ice and I think a goal or assist is coming his way tonight.

#4 Roman Josi Over 3.0 SOG

Josi is averaging 4.4 SOG on the road in his last 10 matchups and averaging 4.8 SOG in his last 5 matchups against the Sabres. Josi is a key player to the Predators team and if they want any chance of winning tonight, Josi has to be firing shots.

#5 Ryan O’Reilly Over 2.0 SOG

O’Reilly has a tough matchup tonight against the Oilers, but I see the Blues actually having a chance to win this game. While with the Blues, O’Reilly has had at least 3 SOG v the Oilers in 6 out of the 8 games they’ve played. I think he sees the opportunities to get there tonight, just needs to get them on net.

I highly suggest waiting until 1-2 hours before puck drop before putting these in. Lineups change and things can happen. I will let you guys know if I change my mind on any of these.
