Very valid but a promotion also has an obligation to not let fighters fight if it comes down to their health. If a fighter gets threatened to be “cut” if they don’t fight then there is all the means there for legal action. Only thing that sucks tho is obviously it’d be him v a big company in TKO/UFC and the ufc will just drag out the case as long as possible until Ortega either gives up, or accepts a settlement deal
But then again it’s just speculation obviously we don’t know if the UFC’s actually threatened to cut him if he doesn’t fight it’s just a theory, I’m surrounded by fighters so I know how stubborn and hard headed they are chances are Ortega just really wanted to fight no matter what
