Reasoning: Most of Dustin Jacoby’s cage time takes place at distance striking range. He’s a high level striker with multiple knockout wins in the UFC. He used to be pretty durable, but we’ve seen him get hurt more and more as he’s gotten older. Lopes can get pretty wild on the feet. He leaves lots of openings, and a striker like Jacoby should be able to take advantage. Jacoby could also get hit with a big shot from Lopes that knocks him out. 12.25 is fair for 2 heavy hitters with questionable durability. What I can see going wrong here is the clinch work from Lopes. I worry about these guys getting stuck on the fence, and we’ll miss opportunities because of the questionable grappling of Jacoby.
