I believe it’s you’re betting on a player getting a point tomorrow ie winning their match. Why it says “vs Day 1”. If they win (by they I mean them and their partner), they get 1 point. If they tie ie “halve” their match, then they get .5 points. PP has four of the sixteen golfers going tomorrow morning , might add more idk. The afternoon pairings haven’t been announced yet, but I’m assuming Rahm will play in the afternoon as well. I’m betting on it in fact. So hopefully by end of day, he will have at least one win and one halve. I’m betting on DJ to not do any of that. I only put a little on it, so I would advise anyone tailing to do the same.

I'm REALLY Excited about the PP options this week for the Sentry. The weather is looking to be like some of the most benign wind conditions for all 4 rounds that we've seen in a long time at Kapalua with all 4 days sitting around 8-10mph sustained and gusts peaking out around 11mph. The only individual rounds in the last few years that resembled those type of conditions were rounds 2 & 3 last year and round 4 in 2019 (I'll refer back to these years in a bit w/ a couple of players to pay attention to).
Other things to know. The average fairway widths at Kapalua are 60 yards! That's double the width of say...Eastlake. They are the widest on tour. These guys will hit a lot of drivers and hit a lot of fairways with virtually no wind and the conditions should be rather soft considering the rain they've gotten in the last month (so less rollout and easy to hold). Also, most golf courses present 14 opportunities to hit a fairway on the par 4's and par 5's. But Kapalua is a par 73 with 15 opportunities to hit fairways.
Here are my favorite props per category as of now. In those 3 rounds I referenced above...JT had 28 Birdies or Better (BoB) in 2021 and 25 in 2019. Xander had 24 in 2021 and 26 in 2019. The worst in 2021 that are on offer in PP were Hideki and Hovland. Hideki had 14 BoB and Hovland had 17 BoB...this is likely due to their putting. The greens here are big. So guys hit plenty of Greens in Regulation, but they can have lengthy putts that lead to a lot of 3 putting.

As far as me, I generally like to see tournament pace. Late Friday gives a good over view (outside of majors) of who's pacing the field, and who the course caters to. Spieth, jt, Xander have decent relationships with this track. Pretty sure Reid has played the most rounds here. Hard to ignore Rahm, and Hov is a ball striker. I went lite for Thursday, but more than likely will heavy up the tickets towards the weekend. Regardless, PP hands down is leading the pga props. Love the setup, love the props

Sharp, yeah hard to tell how players will come off the long layoff. Kind of like when the weather picks up in Hawaii, with them playing right on the coast the next couple weeks. Always fun to watch them play in Hawaii in December, while I live in below zero weather.
