I’ve just never seen this type of tourney before. So the first round each golfer in the pairing plays the hole and the duo takes the best score. So if Patrick birdies and Xander pars then they score a birdie. Bogeys are more of a rarity I would assume. Most lines are around 64 and it’s 72 for par, -8 round?. May be a good spot for overs

And then on Friday it will be alternating strokes so nobody drives back to back holes, putts back to back, etc

I was reading that people can shoot in the high 50s tho since guys can alternate birdies each hole basically and shoot -14 and stuff

On Thursday and Saturday look for pairings that have the stronger individual golfers. Friday and Sunday look for duos that compliment each others strengths and weaknesses. Sorry for the yap
