This isn’t true at all. I was sitting courtside at last years 1v1 tournament and they were absolutely competing hard af. They were playing super physical, talking more trash than I’ve ever seen, and the bigs dominated the tourney. Finals was literally Collier vs Aliyah Edwards

These are world class athletes who play in 2-3 leagues year round and most of them are on the court for almost the entirety of each WNBA game. Their conditioning is top tier and, unlike the nba, they don’t sit out games unless they absolutely need to. Sure fatigue happens, but it happens everywhere
