Long laundry list of reasons but the main reason is Apex is a significantly smaller market
Having too many stat types spread the focus too thin
Bit different than when you look at like CS2 the audience is already huge that expanding the stat types is good

Well you have to break the logic at some point to maintain some sort of integrity on how different maps effect different teams
For example you can see Falcons right now are struggling on e-district
So instead of effecting 1-3 and 4-6 projections it would just effect the 2 map cluster that edistrict is on

Having maps 1-6 in general with no breakdown at all would be the easiest for everybody by just taking the general average a team is doing combining all maps and since there is an equal number of each map (2-2-2) the average would come out in a way where having maps 1-6 lines would make sense. However from my understanding I believe from prize picks perspective 1-6 wasn’t profitable so they had to break it down making it harder.
I completely understand why it’s broken down just as a prize picks player it is tougher / more random on whether lines end up over or under due to the low volume lines such as 1.5 etc

The median is a better metric for tendency which leads to 1-6 kills being a poor metric for prediction due to having to account for winning a lobby

in apex specifically if you can predict the top 3-5 teams and take their overs in 1-6 you will probably be a millionaire
same with predicting bottom 5 and taking unders
