Since being splatted makes their bodies explode while leaving the stuff they have on 'em (mostly) intact, and since the only thing that goes back to the Respawn Points is the soul, how TF do we get our clothes, weapons etc. back?

Teleportation? But that raises a whole can of worms by itself.

Their gears just sunk into the ink. But if they die in water, I think it either or disappear with the ink. But, that raises a question

And if they just make it each time, how the hell is there even an economy?

Maybe it just disintegrates, and the respawner outfits you with the same clothes, gear, etc

Or if you wanna get really deep into the lore pit..

Your clothes and ink disappear with you when you go into swim form, and looking at the animations it would make sense if the clothes, weapons are made out of/can turn into ink. Maybe there is some way for the respawner to retrieve the disintegrated forms of your gear and return it to you at the respawner

Instead of pretty much cloning it, I mean

Tartar says “War over minor genetic deviations” so maybe it’s like linked to the inkling or changes the DNA

Or maybe the respawner is a 3d printer using some cheap substance that the battling committee can easily afford for all turfers
