Genuinely speaking you shouldn't really be using too much , it's unhealthy on any weapon at that

Unironically not playing blob is better, but if you insist on playing it further, you should consider using a more proactive way of playing since passive type of play is probably the weakest use for it atm, and you have to predict everyones movements to get the best effect out of it

Locking out areas aggressively is your best bet for doing anything with that weapon to be frank

try to abuse the cover angles you can hit with it as much as possible

it plays a lot around area denial and chip damage and painting supportively

it´s hard to fight with it, you need to keep a distance and fish for kills safely

Unironically not playing blob is better,
some of this guy´s streams will include losing and swapping to zap
