if you know if it says literal (at)announcements or an actual ping, you can use 42 with
+autoresponse add -c "(at)Announcements" "@ ping on your server"
(note this might allow people to ping in other channels too, I can workshop you a more robust autoresponse when I get to a computer if you want)

i made a mee6 automation to respond to any message sent in that channel with the desired ping role
