I THINK that Splatoon 3 side order will be about the poll in Splatoon's 2 about order and chaos where marina wins, but you maybe saying "chaos won" but what if this is a alternate not reality but timeline where marina wins where she brings order to the world which in her eyes its making the world white. In the trailer we see I think flashbacks of Marina and pearl so we know this takes place after Splatoon 3 (KNOW SHIT) but will Marie and Callie make a appearance I don't think so since this is most likely going to be a darker Splatoon dlc and story unlike the others. In one of the teasers it shows the main character duel wielding two weapons a sniper and I thing smg but inkified™ (I made that word) so the dlc will not be a walk around story.

The world is white because it’s bleached coral - something that can happen to coral when rapid change in its environment, such as a loss in population (and thus in nutrients) occurs
A world devoid of life is one that is indeed order taken to its highest extreme
However, I do not believe this would be an alternate timeline, but rather some sort of place where the idea of order was taken to its greatest extreme
Frankly, it doesn’t seem like Marina was too serious about Order and I don’t think she herself would have the power to enact any change.
it should also be noted that Pearl and Marina are both seen with their Damp Socks outfits, which is a direction the duo would only pursue as a result of Chaos winning, judging by the dialogue that would’ve played out had Order won

I think that the dlc revolves around the idea of the most extreme negative of order, and the coral bleaching represents everyone leaving, if order had won, I think it would’ve been similar, where the dlc would be nothing like the main game we have now

I honestly think this is going on in marina's mind/dreams and the dlc is about her dreaming about order winning the splatfest

also tbh marina didn’t really care about order’s loss, she really only cared about off the hook breaking up as a result of pearl wanting to change everything
Idk it’s always just weird to me when people act like Chaos vs Order’s topic itself meant as much to OTH as Callie vs Marie did to the Squid Sisters
Marina’s primary concern was that a world of change would mean OTH would split up
Even in the Order Wins dialogue, she makes the tough decision to let Pearl choose her own path, once again putting her and Pearl’s relationship in front of the actual Splatfest topic itself
Marina’s ideal and “orderly” world is one where she can maintain balance and the relationships in her life, and not some dystopian white sleek future world
But she finds that even in Pearl’s ideal world of change, Marina’s own order, her balance, can still be maintained.
And that’s the main conclusion of Chaos vs. Order that I think many people miss out on. While many see it as like, the gnarled post-apocalyptic landscape against the sleek utopia as seen in the aesthetic of the fest, the followers of both Team Chaos and Team Order choose their sides based on their own personal ideals and wants in life.
Pearl doesn’t want to plunge the world into a post-apocalyptic hellscape, and Marina doesn’t want to turn the world into a sleek, same-y dictatorial rule
While the look of the fest might lead you to such an assumption, it’s just that. Simply a look, a fancy, uniform aesthetic.
