futuremost limit is probably, like, before 2200, as one of the sunken scrolls in Splatoon 1 depicts a human skeleton that died playing on a Wii U—a console which is no longer in production—so it'd have to be within several decades of its 2012-2017 production run because any longer and there wouldn't be many functional consoles left for that bone boy to be playing on 💀
