two subs are used against fizz/machine combos one sub is used to stop potent 30/70 combos
One sub is still used btw
despite what it seems bomb chip is very powerful in this game and bomb combos are also quite powerful which makes sdu still widely used
but if a build is tight on space, it's usually one of the first to go

Yes
one sub is still quite good
for closer ranged weapons it's good against bursts and 1v1s and for longer ranged weapons it's good against bomb poking in general
I play mostly tetra dualies if that makes any difference
