For some reason when some people join VCs created in splatfest categories (or at least in Team Grub), they're server muted. I only have like 3 roles and the others had more, but none of the roles they had were for being muted.
It's most likely something related to role permissions.

I think it might be because they were in a different idol's team for the first splatfest

the other thing it could be is Discord API having a glitch, but the only way to know if that's what it was is if they try again now and can talk now. But need one of them to be available to test

Figured it out. Looking through the logs, you set the VC to have /max 4, but never made it public. There's a bug in the perms where Grub can connect always, but not speak. /max 4 + /public would have fixed it in that situation, but Grub shouldn't be always allowed to connect. I'll fix that permission
