#Can't change backlight colors in GTM?

Interesting. What CCOS version are you on
2.1.0, I believe -- also on a related note (and potentially a dumb one) I have activated character only mode, but am not sure how turn it off, since I need to chord g+alt(dup) to launch gtm. I dont see a way to disable irt on the browser device manager either
Turn chording on
Should be an option on the manager
There are two chording toggles in the device manager: https://charachorder.io/
- Device > Keyboard > Character entry
On means character entry only.
Off means both character entry and chording is enabled (If the second toggle below is enabled).
This setting is toggled from the GTM's chording section: Character Only Mode
CharaChorder > Chording [ >C<haracter Only Mode=off || >P<ress Tolerance=30ms || >R<elease purring || >A<rpeggiate || co>M<pound ]
The device manager and configuration tool for CharaChorder devices.
- Device > Chording
This toggle is more descriptive and it works as expected.
On mean chording is enabled.
Off mean chording is disabled.
ah I just did not hit save on the device manager- thank you both. The color issue still persists, though. Still no color option in GTM, and when I try to change color in the device manager, the LEDs only turn solid white -- even if i select another color, and I also no longer have the multicolor fading background that I had at first
Try lowering the brightness. I believe the max is 50
The 225 might be breaking the device's ability to display the other colors?
No luck unfortunately. fwiw the default brightness was 250 for some reason
What happens when you lower it to 40?
The brightness does go down, but still no color options on GTM "CharaChorder > Display > LEDs || >O<N/off=ON || >B<rightness=40 ]"
GG @woven carbon, you just advanced to level 1!
And what happens when you select another color in the manager and hit Save?
same result as before -- I can toggle RBG on/off, but no matter what color I select, it will be white on the keyboard
