I think it would be really cool to have a way to check a specific word if we can check our chord library offline without using a broser and just the gtm like the impulse chording thing. I know that we can just do impulse chording and know that we don't have a chord for the specific combination for the word, but having the ability to type the word and a text menu will say all the combinations that have been linked to that word would be cool.
#Have a feature for the gtm to let you check what chords you have for a specific word offline

I think #nexus does this already? Albeit, not in GTM, but a solid alternative
ow oke I'll check it out later when I get home haven't seen the nexus thing yet
Now hold up without using a browser and offline are two different things
charachorder.io works fully offline
without using a browser. like on notepad
idk if that's possible
it would be pretty cool though ngl
I want an easy way turn my chord library into an Anki deck. That's considered offline. If charachorder.io can export to a CSV that would be nice
(offline AND away from keyboard, next level :P)
We thought about a reverse search potentially... More of a question how performant that's going to be
I would be happy with my Master Forge simply output'ing my whole chord library to screen (using the GTM would be a good location). Not sure if that is possible with the non-Latin keys (eg: DUP etc). Then I can use my editor to Find the chord I forgot how to type.
Not sure if this is simpler than a reverse search. 🤷🏼♂️
Seems extremely useful..
Yes, please! To answer those:
Do I already have that chord?
What was the chord for BLANK?
I'm interested in a way to seach through existing chords with GTM or something similar too, but I'm becoming more concerned about protecting my chord library too. I'm hoping this can be implemented with security in mind, so anyone with access to a CC device can't just plug it in and download your chord library, view it in manager, or see it in GTM if that or a similar feature is added
I made this awhile ago, it's pretty simple but has helped me a lot. It does what it sounds like you're asking for: https://github.com/reileyvs/Charachorder-Chord-Finder
